Balance Physical Therapy
Balance Physical Therapy & Human Performance Center strives to be the most patient-focused, result-oriented rehabilitation facility in Monterey County. Be part of a growing out-of-network practice that is 100 percent owned by physical therapists.
We seek energetic, community-minded PTs (full-time or part-time) with original ideas about providing hands-on service as special and unique as the patients we serve. For the past 16-plus years, our team members have thrived within our “same physical therapist every visit” care model, providing outstanding personal attention to each individual patient, from evaluation to discharge to follow-up.
As a member of our 10-therapist, collaborative clinical team, you’ll have the opportunity to treat a wide variety of diagnoses (post-surgical and non-surgical) in an outpatient setting, working together in an environment that has a profound and positive impact on the lives of everyone we treat. We accomplish this by living our Core Values, embodied in our S.T.R.O.N.G acronym:
Service to Patients.
Readiness to Learn.
Guidance to Others.
In addition to physical therapy, our 8,500- and 6,500-square-foot facilities provide other services, including: massage therapy; personal training; fitness memberships; group fitness classes; balance and fall prevention classes; athletic training partnerships with local schools; strength and conditioning; and sports physicals.
Our future team member must possess a license in good standing to practice or have PTLA status in California, and he or she must be able to work with a variety of patients and co-workers in a dynamic environment consisting of PTs, athletic trainers, massage therapists, aides, post-discharge gym members, and fitness class leaders. Perhaps most importantly, the perfect candidate will possess a positive, healthy attitude, and take pride in their work and in our shared profession.
Our PT positions offer an extremely competitive salary, in addition to bonuses and/or student-loan reimbursement. We provide medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, an annual professional-level subscription to MedBridge for unlimited continuing education, a week of PTO for con-ed only, $2,000 for con-ed tuition, and an additional 2-weeks of vacation accrual Year 1. We also offer a safe-harbor 401-K retirement plan with a 4 percent match, and can be very flexible with scheduling, depending on clinic needs. For those therapists with an interest in management and/or ownership, those opportunities exist as well.
