Balance Physical Therapy
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Tyler Clements was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Tyler attended Virginia Tech where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition Food and Exercise. After graduating, Tyler relocated to the West Coast where he attended the University of St. Augustine to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
While attending Virginia Tech, Tyler also worked as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach for several of Virginia Tech’s sports teams including baseball, soccer, and volleyball. During this time, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. After graduating from the University of St. Augustine, he moved up to Monterey to be with his wife who had been stationed there to attend graduate school.
As a Physical Therapist, Tyler believes strongly in empowering people by helping them understand their own body, movement, and health. Through this, people will have the tools to help themselves move better and do everything in life that they love to do. Tyler has also completed advanced education courses in kinesiology taping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage.
Outside of the clinic, Tyler loves working out, hiking, and spending time at the beach with his wife, Lindsay, and husky, Koda. You can also find him on the golf course in his spare time (he’s likely the one yelling “Fore!”).
